Stokes Laboratories are located in a purpose-built facility at the University of Limerick’s Engineering Research Building.

Our laboratories are comprehensively equipped with test facilities and measurement systems for fluid dynamics research: an overview of facilities and equipment is presented below.

In addition, Stokes has a prototyping workshop for the development of sensors, instrumentation systems and test vehicles. Finally, Stokes currently utilises a number of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element (FE) codes for numerical analysis.
