Having completed my final year project under the supervision of Prof. Mark Davies, an opportunity arose as a research assistant at Stokes Institute which is now my current position. My work involves designing and building prototype microfluidic liquid handling devices for use in biological research. I carry out my work in close collaboration with graduate and post doctoral biology researchers as well as engineering PhD candidates.
